Quality Assurance
We pride ourselves on producing translations to the highest possible standards with our six step quality assurance process:
1. Assignment of translator
One or more linguists are assigned with a high level of experience in the subject matter and or the industry who is a native speaker of the target audience. Depending on the requirements, a sworn translator may be required where legal translations are required.
2. Editing
Once the assigned translator has completed the translation, the documents are sent to a linguist editor, or lawyer for legal documents, for proof reading to check for grammatical errors, mistakes and ensure that the context is translated according to the aims of the client.
3. Publishing
Depending on the client's and country's requirements, the translation is either sent to the desktop publishing team for formatting documents or the multimedia team for website based requirements which require a higher level of technical formatting.
4. Proof reading
After completion of the formatting, a final check is completed by a proof-reader. In certain circumstances the translation is 'back translated' where the original translation is translated back to the source language by a translator not involved in the initial translation.
5. Client review
The final step in the assurance process is the review with the client by the assigned translator or for larger projects with the Project Manager in association with the translator. Any issues with formatting or presentation together with any additions required are discussed and planned.
6. Client feedback
We are always striving to improve our quality of service by improving our systems and processes. We want to ensure that we provide our clients with service excellence and encourage all clients to provide honest feedback to help us achieve this goal.
